Reminder: Changes to General Practice Recognition

A reminder that the changes to the Health Insurance Act 1973 mean that any Fellows who have not registered as a specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) will lose access to Medicare rebates from 16 June 2021. There will be no access to backdated Medicare rebates. The College has provided detailed information to members about these changes in Connect@ACRRM. You are welcome to contact l.ryan@acrrm.org.au if you require further clarification or assistance.
