Now available: Resources targeting Influenza vaccination in children under 5

The Department of Health has created resources to promote influenza vaccination for children under 5 years of age, as they've recognised the uptake of flu vaccination in this cohort could be improved. The influenza vaccine is available for free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years via the National Immunisation Program. Vaccination providers and other health professionals can access the new promotional materials for consumers, including posters and brochures, from the Influenza Resources Collection. Specialised resources developed under the Sharing Knowledge About Immunisation project are also available to support parents with questions about influenza vaccination for their children. Health professionals can also subscribe to the Department's email list to receive the latest National Immunisation Program updates.
